Local Services Ads are the pay-per-lead listings at the very top of Google, marked with the Google Verified badge. You pay for leads, not clicks — but only after Google screens your business. Voxlera handles the screening, the setup and the weekly management.

If your truck, website or ads still say “Google Guaranteed,” they're out of date. Here's what changed on October 20, 2025.
Google retired the Google Guaranteed, Google Screened and License Verified badges and replaced all three with a single Google Verified badge.
The customer money-back guarantee that came with Google Guaranteed was discontinued. The badge now signals that Google checked the business, not that it backs the work.
Google Verified still means passing Google's screening — business verification plus licenses, insurance and background checks where your category requires them.
Local Services Ads sit at the very top of the page, above regular ads and the map. They work best alongside the other two.
Free. It shows in the map pack and carries your reviews. Everything else builds on it. Profile management.
You pay per lead — a call or message from a customer — not per click. Google screens your business first and shows the Google Verified badge.
You pay per click and control the keywords, ad text and landing page. More control, more work. Google Ads for contractors.
Most LSA problems start in setup: wrong categories, a missing document, a service area that doesn't match where you really work. We get it right the first time and keep it tuned.
Google's screening asks for what your state and city require. In Pennsylvania, these come up most.
Pennsylvania's Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act requires most home improvement contractors to register with the Attorney General and show their PA registration number in advertising, including online ads. Contractors doing less than $5,000 of home improvement work a year are exempt.
In Philadelphia, plumbing and electrical work need a city trade license on top of state requirements. If you work in the city, have that license number ready for screening and visible where customers check.
Google's checks can include business verification, licenses, insurance and background checks, and the list changes by category and location. We look up exactly what yours requires before submitting, so nothing gets rejected for a missing document.
We'll tell you honestly if LSAs aren't a fit yet. These are the signs they will be.
Leads are phone calls and messages, and Google weighs how responsive you are. If calls go to voicemail, the AI front desk fixes that first.
Customers compare ratings right there in the ad. A strong review history makes every lead you pay for more likely to book.
Most home-service trades qualify, but requirements vary by category and location. We confirm yours before you spend anything.
