HVAC demand follows the thermometer. The first cold snap and the first heat wave bring a flood of no-heat and no-AC searches, and the companies that show up — and pick up — book the season. We build your profile, pages and reviews for both seasons and the slow months in between.
Plans from $397/month · Call tracking included · No long-term contracts · EN/ES
What homeowners search in January has almost nothing in common with what they search in July. A profile that says the same thing all year misses half of it.
| When | What homeowners search | What we change on your profile and site |
|---|---|---|
| First cold nights (October–November) | “furnace won't turn on,” “heating repair near me,” “boiler repair” | Heating services lead your profile. Posts push pre-season tune-ups. Emergency hours get checked before the first freeze. |
| Deep winter (December–February) | “no heat,” “emergency furnace repair,” “heat pump not heating” | The emergency page goes front and center. Calls get sorted so no-heat emergencies don't wait behind routine visits. |
| Spring (March–May) | “AC tune-up,” “central air installation cost,” “heat pump installation” | Maintenance plans and replacement pages get the attention. Winter customers get their review requests. |
| Summer (June–August) | “AC not cooling,” “AC repair near me,” “ductless mini split” | Cooling services lead. Hours, service area and the phone are set up for the rush. |
| Early fall (September–October) | “furnace tune-up,” “boiler service,” “HVAC maintenance plan” | Heating tune-ups get booked into the slow weeks before the phones get busy again. |
Many of Philadelphia's older rowhomes still heat with boilers and radiators, so “boiler repair” and “radiator” searches matter in the city in a way they don't in newer suburbs. Your service list should reflect the homes you actually work on.
Each one searches differently and is worth a different amount to you. Your Google presence needs to catch all three.
Urgent and local. The house is cold or hot right now, so the homeowner calls whoever looks open and close, with decent reviews. Hours, distance and answering the phone decide it.
Your biggest tickets. The homeowner gets two or three quotes, reads reviews and looks at your website for the systems you install, financing and how long it takes. A clear page for each system wins these.
The customers who already know you. Plans fill slow weeks, keep equipment running and bring a steady stream of reviews between the peaks — if you ask.
This is the Local Lead Engine, set up around how heating and cooling customers search.
These are the issues we find most in HVAC audits. Each one costs calls when the weather turns, so they get fixed before it does.
Leading with AC tune-ups in January, or furnace offers in July. Your top services and posts should match what people are searching this month.
The first real cold snap brings more calls than one office can answer. Voicemail fills up, callers move on, and some of them were replacement jobs.
Your biggest jobs go to the companies with a clear page for each system. A line that says “we do installs” doesn't compete.
Emergency customers are happy you came, but tune-up customers are the ones you see twice a year. Ask them too.
A lot of HVAC websites still promise the federal heat pump tax credit. That credit, Section 25C, ended for equipment installed after December 31, 2025. Pages and ads that still promise it set up an awkward conversation at the kitchen table, and they look out of date to anyone who has checked.
Utility programs are still running. PECO, PPL and Pennsylvania's other large electric utilities offer rebates on some efficient equipment under the state's Act 129 programs, which started a new phase in June 2026. The amounts and rules change from phase to phase, so we write about them in a way that's easy to keep current and link to the utility's own page for the numbers.
The same rule applies to everything on your profile: only claims you can back up. Dealer status, certifications, warranty terms and financing should all be things you could show a customer on request.
